Abraham Garnick was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts in 1928 and never really left. He served Chelsea first as a member of various Chelsea Championship Football teams in the 1940's, as a Navy Pharmacists Mate in the 1950's, and as a Teacher, Coach and mentor in the Chelsea Public Schools thereafter. Abraham Garnick died December 14, 2001 All of those who knew and loved Abe will remember him as a big, powerful man with a kind and gentle heart and soul. Mr. Garnick was always ready to help anyone in need. In Honor of Mr. Garnick, his family has established the Abraham Garnick Scholarship Trust which will grant scholarships to Chelsea High School |
